What is the International Transport Forum?
The International Transport Forum is an intergovernmental organization, based at the OECD in Paris. It acts as a strategic transport policy think tank for 52 member countries by providing research, statistics and policy analysis. The International Transport Forum also organizes an annual summit with transport ministers and industry leaders from around the world. The International Transport Forum was created in 2006 by transforming the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) into a body with global membership and dealing with all modes of transport – road, rail, aviation, maritime – and mobility issues.
